Framework of judicial abilities and qualities

The JSB has introduced a framework of judicial abilities and qualities for the District and circuit Benches. It is intended to identify the knowledge, skills, behaviour and attitudes that judges are expected to demonstrate.

Annual Lecture 2008

The JSB Annual Lecture 2008, entitled "The Drafting of Criminal Legislation: Need it be so Impenetrable?" and given by Professor John Spencer QC, is now available to view online.
